Thankfully the world didn't end yesterday evening which is useful as I haven't got particularly far in my list of things to do and I'm rather looking forward to my leaving party on Friday. According to Harold Camping, a preacher from California, the Second Coming of Jesus was due to occur conveniently at 6 pm local time for each time zone around the world. Although it saddens me to see another nutter turning religion in to a laughing matter (and a dubious one at that due to the $120 million he amassed in donations), it did get me thinking what crazy things I'd want to do if news from New Zealand arrived that there was only 12 hours left to live...
*removed, due to the fact that the possibility that my parents will somehow read this is very high*
Unfortunately, this did not provide me with the motivation I need to f̶i̶n̶i̶s̶h̶ (start) my revision for my last exam, resulting in a day of lying in, having a cheeky Sunday roast (thanks Joel!), attempting to organise my room (which has resulted in it looking messier...?), half packing and watching a film. In a last minute bid to ensure the day wasn't a complete waste I began some serious revision, only to realise a substantial amount of time later that I was revising Principles of Marketing. Shame that was last semester and it's a Marketing Research exam I've got on Wednesday. Blurgh.
Ah well, Sunday's meant to be a day of rest anyway. Time for bed me thinks and here’s hoping I can make it up for it tomorrow!
Mañana, mañana, there's always mañana...
